I needed a small break, and I needed to draw something simple. I've been working on my comic for weeks strate and of course the one thing I do is make fan art of my comic... Odd, through all my years of making comics, never have i felt so strongly or proud towards a piece that I've made, or felt so captivated by my characters that I wanted to make a small drawing of them. oh, well I did some, but they were more of, LOOK HOW EPIC THEY ARE! I think I might have actually toned it down to the point that I'm no longer playing into what I think people will find funny to read, IE, the mainstream anime style of comedy... LOL SO RANDOM! No, this was about art. Creating a simple story that bloomed with originality and artistic abilities that was confined to a small duration, and thus needed to stay focused. And to that, I had a lot of fun in makeing this project. No longer did I constrict myself in having to draw the comic in a specific style, but rather, draw what needed be to create the right mood. It felt so free when creating it. And now that it's almost done, I'm just amazed at how far I've come not only as an artist, but as a story teller. So time to wrap up page 10.
